Biography:

Victor Rubin b. 1950, Sydney NSW

Rubin is a leading contemporary painter and draftsman whose work captures everyday quite spaces, streets capes and iconic Australian imagery. Embossed into Australian artistic history through a prolific career and recognition, Rubin's work has been awarded several inclusions in prominent art prizes such as the Archibald, Blake, Wynne and the exhibition Australian Perspecta (1983,1985). His paintings and drawings are held in several public and private collections across Australia and internationally.
