Anne Marie Graham b 1925 Vienna

With a career traversing over 55 years, Anne Marie Graham has bequeathed a rich collection of paintings to Australia's artistic portfolio. Prior to immigrating as a young child to Australia, Graham was under tutelage of esteemed professor Czizek where the influence of his 'free hand expressional' ideals in art making can still be found. In 'Tourists, St Paul De Venice,' Graham applies Brughel's naive sensibility where one can see her highly poetic style over formal painting concerns.
